ISIB Sponsored European International Contractors’ Spring Conference

ISIB continues to sponsor the biannual conferences organized by European International Contractors (EIC), the highest representative body of the European Construction Sector.

EIC’s General Assembly and the Spring Conference 2017 were held on 20-21 April 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The overarching theme of the events was “Sustainable Solutions for Urban Areas”.

ISIB continues to support the organization through sponsorships.

The programme also provided an opportunity to hold one-on-one talks with the prominent contractor companies in Europe. In addition to placing emphasis on the advantageous aspects of Turkish economy and industry, the talks also provided a platform for exchange of opinions regarding the competitive structure of the Turkish HVAC&R sector.

Mr. Zeki Poyraz, the President of Turkish HVAC&R Exporters Union and Mr. Serafettin Ceceli, the President of Ankara Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Association, held talks with Mr. Anders Samuelsen, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark, who made a speech during the meeting. Following the meeting, Mr. Poyraz and Mr. Ceceli presented a book depicting Turkey to Mr. Samuelsen.

ISIB previously sponsored two conferences of EIC held in Berlin and Brussels, both of which provided ISIB with an opportunity to network and promote its activities.

EIC widely represents the contractors that are established in Europe and doing business on an international level.
