We as Turkish HVAC-R Industry Exporters Union have hosted our sectoral academicians in Istanbul on the occasion of the Turkish Innovation Week organized between 28-30 November 2013 under the coordination of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) to communicate the importance of innovation and to support innovative activities.
We, as HVAC-R Industry Exporters Union, have participated in the meeting held by BACADER on 30 November 2013 at Titanik Kartal Hotel. After the presentation on the activities, works and targets of our Union, the questions of our BACADER-member firms were answered.
HVAC-R Industry Exporters Union (İSİB) held the second “Meeting with the Chairmen of Sectoral Unions” on 26 September 2013 in İstanbul at “Cemile Sultan Korusu” with a view to enhancing sectoral solidarity and unison, and discussing sectoral problems at a broadly-based platform and finding solutions for them.

Turkish HVAC-R Industry Exporters’ Union has organized a national participation to the FEBRAVA 2013 fair, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on 17 to 20 September 2013 for the 18th time. Six companies from Turkey participated in FEBRAVA 2013, one of the most important regional fairs in heating, cooling, ventilation and air-conditioning. Our Consul-General in Sao Paulo, Mehmet Özgün ARMAN, and our Trade Counsellors, Canan GÜRHAN and Ramazan KISA, visited the stands of the companies, provided information about the Brazilian market and answered questions from our companies.
HVAC-R Industry Exporters' Union (İSİB) organized a Sectoral Trade Delegation meeting attended by ten Turkish firms between 03-06 June 2013 inMorocco with a view to negotiating business possibilities and enhancing cooperation between the Turkish HVAC-R Sector and Morocco, and taking a closer look at the country profile. The bi-lateral negotiations section of the said program was successfully held with the attendance of approximately 50 Moroccan businessmen.

HVAC-R Industry Exporters' Union (İSİB) which started its activities at the end of 2011 held an “Award Ceremony for Successful Exporters” to crown the achievements of the member companies that made great efforts for exports in the difficult year of 2012. Following is the list of the Prize-Winning İSİB-Member Firms due to their Export Performances in the year 2012.
A meeting-dinner has been organized by HVAC-R Industry Exporters’ Union on 17 May 2013 in İstanbul CemileSultanForest with a view to developing sectoral communications, enhancing cooperation, discussing problems and exchanging views. It was agreed to hold such meetings more frequently in the coming periods.
Outputs of the 1st HVAC-R Industry Workshop held between 29 November - 2 December 2012 under the organization of the HVAC-R Industry Exporters Union (İSİB) with a view to working out the Year 2023 Export Strategy and Action Plan of HVAC-R Sector had been brought together at four workshops with narrower scope, and 33 basic projects had been identified in the aftermath of the said workshops.
The final report which tackles the requirements, problems and proposals of the sector moving forward towards the year 2023 has been unveiled. This report is the first step in the plan developed during the Vision 2023 Workshop, which was organized in December 2012 by the Turkish HVAC-R Industry Exporters Union.
Mr. Zeki Poyraz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish HVAC-R Industry Exporters Union, said Turkish HVAC-R industry needed a road map for R&D, innovation, university-industry cooperation, standardization and opening to foreign markets in order to attain 2023 export targets.
